QPI have extensive experience in the correct selection of the type of belt best suited for your requirements. We offer various types of conveyor belts including special types such as; Rip Stop, Steel Cord, Cleated, Elevator Belt, Power Bend, Side Wall, Gripface and Friction Back.
Rip Stop Conveyor Belt
Rip-stop belting has close pitch steel breakers across the belt to help prevent long cuts and slits, for more arduous conditions where cutting is a problem. For example, sharp stone and concrete re-bar.
In heavy impact applications the steel breaker will protect the carcass of the belt extending the life.
Steel Cord Conveyor Belt
Generally steel cord conveyor belts are used on very long conveyors where low stretch is vital. This belt also has good impact resistance. Designed for exceptionally long conveyors.
Additional special belt information:
- Fire Resistant – Developed for conveying of flammable materials e.g. coal coke to minimize any risk of combustion or fire caused by or involving the belt. For use under ground & tunnelling applications.
- Elevator Belts – For use with bucket elevator conveyors, including oil & heat resistant applications.
