Isolation Lock-Off Cards featured in University of Derby course.
Around 7 years ago, QPI created Personal Identification/Isolation Cards for the service team as a safety measure for locking off conveyors. With these cards, we created a QR code for each person which gave access to their competency certificates and any other necessary information.
Our isolation cards are now being used as an example of what is best practice in the University of Derby – ‘Mineral Extraction and Transportation, Conveyors’ course.
It’s really great to see and a proud moment for QPI’s Health and Safety team. We look forward to an opportunity of assisting the University of Derby and The Institute of Quarrying further in the future.
